Winter Weekend Outfit Guide

TGIF and Happy February fashionistas! With the recent frigid temperatures this winter it’s easy to fall into a style slump. Oversized sweaters, leggings, and over the knee boots tend to be the go to uniform during the winter, however if you’re like us at Made En France, we need some fashion inspiration to help us get through the rest of it! After looking back at our Paris Spring Couture Runway Review and the recent trends we’ve been seeing on our social media feeds, we decided that glitter, a pop of color, animal print, and velvet are the elements needed to provide some heat for your winter weekend outfit. We styled these looks with a black leather skirt and tights, however the options are endless. Check out the below outfit inspirations and the multiple ways to style them and then head to our website or our boutique to shop what you like for a fashion forward weekend look!

Friday Night: Animal Print

Animal print is considered a wardrobe essential in our closets and it should be in yours too! We think the best way to style some cheetah print into your look is to have a simple and chic base. Start with our Phalaenopsis Black Blazer over a white tee, or a crisp button down, and then add on the Eponyme camel and animal print booties. Complete the look with any of these to die for Suki Paris bags and our De Bornarel hat for a city chic date night look.

Saturday Daytime: Pop of Color

Winter seems to go hand in hand with dark colors, making your outfits seem redundant and basic. Spice things up a bit and add a pop of color! Coral is the color to watch this Spring and since we’re only in February you can start by slowly adding it to your wardrobe. Our scarf from Divine Trouvaille is a great starting point with its hints of light green and coral and looks amazing next to these on sale Maison Basoa statement earrings! Pair the scarf and earrings with a simple turtleneck or off-the-shoulder sweater, and let the accessories shine! Complete the look with this Made En France favorite, on trend, chic bucket bag by Marigance.

Saturday Night: Glitter

Store those bulky snow boots away and swap them for our Eponyme sparkly booties! Gracing the runways of Christian Dior and Chanel, glitter shoes not only seem to be the newest Spring trend, but are also the ideal way to add some shine to the dreary winter. These ones from Eponyme have the perfect heel height, keeping you comfortable and ready for a night out! Let the shoes shine and pair this look with our bell-sleeved Phalaenopsis Black Blouse, a dark straight leg jean and our sleek Lucienne Deep Violet Python Clutch. Add the finishing touch with this Aurélie Chadaine Glitter pin, not only perfect for the month of February but also acts as a great addition to your blouse or bag.

Sunday Day to Night: Velvet

Just because the weekend is near an end on Sunday does not mean that your outfits need to! If you’re looking for something to wear to your friend’s Superbowl party or during your other activities try incorporating velvet into your look. Velvet has been a hot trend recently and our Eponyme booties do the trend justice. Go for a very Parisian look and pair the booties with one of our favorite striped shirts from Armor Lux. Complete the look with accessories! Our Rose Mary Suzy blue velvet bucket bag is the perfect bag to carry throughout the day and looks amazing next to these on sale Aida flower detail statement earrings. Add on the Ania Axenova scarf either around your neck or tied onto the strap of your bag.
