Initially an artist and art teacher in Normandy, Camille’s life changed when her mom was diagnosed with Cancer. To help her deal with the hair loss due to Chemotherapy, Camille designed some colorful and pop-inspired scarves her mom would use to cover her head.
Due to the unexpected success of the scarves, Camille decided to keep designing more. In love with beautiful and qualitative things, she chose a prestigious French silk workshop to have her scarves printed. Her brand SHANDOR (meaning Courage and Strength in Hungarian, her family origins) was officially born in 2015. Since then, Camille developed her collection with home decor (pillow covers, wall hanging textiles, baby swaddles printed with organic ink and headbands), all made sustainably in France. the best part of Camille’s story is that her mom is now a Cancer survivor.
